A re-edition of an iconic bag from our archives dating back to the late 1960s, the IDYLLE line is rooted in the history of the House by using a jewel signature that is highly symbolic for our founders. At the beginning of their romance in the 1870s, Angèle LANCEL's husband, Alphonse, gave her a jewel lock to mark their mutual commitment. She then kept this gift with her all her life and reinterpreted it boldly according to her collections. As a tribute to this original love story, IDYLLE takes up this iconic and now universal symbol, as illustrated by the Pont des Arts in Paris, where lovers come to place a padlock as a sign and pledge of their love.
