At LANCEL, the majority of our leathers are carefully selected from the finest Italian tanneries, renowned for the quality and durability of their hides. Each leather is chosen based on strict criteria to ensure high-quality products. Among the preferred materials are:

  • Cowhide leather, a noble material and a signature of LANCEL’s craftsmanship, used for iconic bags such as NINON and PREMIER FLIRT. Its durability, variety of finishes (grained, smooth, patent, etc.), and wide range of colors offer endless creative possibilities.

  • Exceptional leathers, including Python, Ostrich, and Water Snake (Ayers), are featured in our collections as well as in our one-of-a-kind editions and special orders. These rare materials bring a unique and exclusive touch.
